I had a little trouble getting into this story not enough time to dive in doesn t work too well if you just read a chapter at a time etc But once I found the time it was hard to put down You need to get some momentum on it but worth the effort Good story about a 13 year old girl who has to choose whether to accept her Destiny on her 14th birthday or not

This is a rather convoluted allegory about a girl who discovers she s one of the Fates who control human lives It s got a cool villain and some interesting jumping around the universe but I didn t really care for the characters and the ending seemed to me to be a LOT of explaining particularly of the allegory So I liked it but felt it was average

    It took me a couple of chapters to get into it but when I did I couldn't put it down I loved the contemporary imagining of The Fates and I'm ready to read the next book
